They are worried about the future

Last night a major Austrian TV station, ORF1, is playing Michael Moore's "Farenheit 9/11." I was told by students today that the day after September 11 the entire country observed a minute of silence. People are deeply skeptical and critical of the war on Iraq. They believe that the US is there to control the oil. They believe that five years later the world and their country is much less safe. They are worried about the future.

They are not alone. We are all worried about the future. With gas about $3.30 per gallon, we're certainly not controlling any oil.
