A rather apt metaphorical film

Last Saturday was the Culture Night in Stuttgart. You buy a ticket and can get into around 80 different places. Each has different things going on, from dance to dadamusic performances, animation film screenings to poetry readings. Pretty cool scene. And buses take you around the city from place to place.

German cities seem to be big on this kind of thing. There are Museum Nights, when all the local museums are open, Music Nights, when lots of different places have live bands or djs, etc.

Among other places we went into the Baden-Württemburg Parliment building. The public is never allowed inside except on nights like this. It is a glass walled building, very modern and spacious and well designed. The parliment chamber was very comfortable and inside was an animation film fest. The film we saw was from Britain and was about a recalcitrant kid who was punished severely at the end. A rather apt metaphorical film to be seen in politicians chambers.
